We've done some research on the price of property in the 5 major cities Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
For each city we have looked at what was available at the low end of the price range in terms of both 2 bedroom city centre flats and 3 bedroom houses in a suburb 6-7 miles from each city.
This information was collected september 2008.
